U.S. immigration updates: The University is aware of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security order to terminate Harvard’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) certification for the 2025-26 academic year. Harvard is committed to maintaining our ability to host our international students and scholars, who hail from more than 140 countries and enrich the University and this nation. General Visitor Guidelines

  • Per University guidelines, masks are optional however DCE staff reserve the right to ask visitors to wear a mask for appointments and/or in private offices.
  • Visitors to 51 Brattle will need to check in with the Security Guard.
  • Visitors will need to sign in and will be given a visitor badge.
  • After appointments, visitors will be instructed to leave the building.
  • Visitors will not be allowed in the building after office hours and will not be referred to other offices that don’t have office hours.
